Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting with Helene Rude and Thomas Moebus who both work at the Levin Institute.
If you are in the NYC area, The Levin Institute is a remarkable organization and is housed in an incredible beautiful building that was once the private residence of successful entrepreneur! So much history all packed into wonderful learning facility. The Institute itself has a few initiatives which include innovation projects, globalization projects and entrepreneurship.
They offer two AMAZING programs for entrepreneurs and they are FREE! For existing business owners, they offer FastTrac GrowthVenture and for those exploring entrepreneurship, they offer FastTrac NewVenture. Both programs are intensive 8 session courses that work through various aspects of starting or growing your business. During the FastTrac GrowthVenture program, participants will work to create a actionable plan for strategic growth. FastTrac NewVenture participants will work towards creating a business plan.
The Levin Institute launched the FastTrac programs two years ago and has had over 1500 participants. Some impressive statistics include:
- 80% of the graduates said the GrowVenture helped them grow their business
- 50% of graduates said their revenue grew within 6 months of graduation
- 50% of graduates said their revenue grew within 6 months of graduation
