Sabotaging Your Own Success? 3 Tips to Stop Right Now!

Why is it that success can elude me? Why does this happen time and time again? Why is it that success seems to come easy to some, but never to me? Why is it never MY turn to enjoy the excitement of achieving the goals?
I know all about setting goals – I do it all the time! I know that these goals need to be SMART – specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bounded! I know they need to be monitored. So there is nothing that I need to learn about goals and goal setting!
So, why then am I not achieving these goals – I have followed the process from all the gurus from beginning to end, but still no joy! Should I redo my action plan and start again?
Well, that might help, but I doubt very much that the result will be any different. What is causing this habitual under achieving is your limiting paradigm! Nice words but what do they mean?
Your limiting paradigm is what you say to yourself that explains why success has not come your way! You are not alone – we all do it! Your limiting paradigm tells you that YOU could never get up and speak in front of a group of 100 people! Your limiting paradigm tells you that you did not get the opportunity to be as well educated as others! Your limiting paradigm tells you that you are not as talented, or as bright, or as skilled as others. Your limiting paradigm is giving your excuse upfront as to why you will not succeed!
It is that little voice in your head that says “You could never do……….” We all possess that same little voice and it sabotages achievement of our goals and the lives we want to have for ourselves and our loved ones!
So what do you do? What are the 3 tips to overcoming this limiting paradigm and achieving your goals?
 1. Invest time giving honest consideration and listening time to what “that” voice is saying to you. You know what it says, because it says it to you continuously. Write down what that voice is saying – because it sends out more than one message! Write them all down – don’t leave any out!
 2. Pick the one that is has the greatest negative impact upon you achieving your goals.
 3. Now flip that negative message on its head and write the opposite, positive message that empowers you to move forward and achieve all you can. Write it in a positive manner that will lead you towards your amazing future. Now write that new empowering belief in your journal or diary every day for 60 days to engrain it into your psyche.
You now have the keys to fulfil your goals.
